Basil Pesto Grilled

Ingredients
1. 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
2. 1 tablespoon chopped pine nuts
3. 1 package simply organic sweet basil pesto
4. 12 slices whole wheat bread
5. 1/3 cup butter, softened
6. 2 tomatoes, sliced
7. 12 American cheese singles

Directions
In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese with pine nuts and
Sweet Basil Pesto Sauce Mix.
Lightly butter both sides of bread. In a skillet on medium heat, lightly brown one side of each piece of bread. Lightly spread each toasted side of bread with 1 1/2 teaspoons cream cheese mixture. Top half of the pieces of bread with 1 slice American Cheese followed by a slice of tomato and another slice of American Cheese. Top each with the remaining slices of bread (cream cheese side down). Return to skillet and cook each side over medium heat until lightly brown and cheese is melted.
